Character
The German Shepherd has a courageous, determined, and independent personality. Extremely loyal, it forms a strong bond with its owner. With high emotional intelligence, it can sense its owner’s mood. Although it is social, it may be cautious toward strangers.

Exercise Needs
High. German Shepherds are energetic and active dogs that require daily exercise. Long walks, runs, and playtime help them stay healthy. Mental stimulation is also important; learning new commands and performing tasks keeps them happy.
Care
They require regular grooming. During shedding seasons, their coat should be brushed several times a week. Ear cleaning and dental care should not be neglected. Due to their high energy, proper training and discipline are essential.
Living Environment
This breed adapts well to large homes with gardens but can also live in apartments if given sufficient exercise and space. Owners need to be active, and ideally, the dog should have access to a yard where it can run and play.
Suitable Family Type
The German Shepherd is an excellent choice for active families who can dedicate time to training. It gets along very well with children and has a natural instinct to protect them. Since this breed dislikes being left alone, it thrives in households where it can live closely with people.
