When Can It Be Monitored at Home?
If the following conditions apply, and the symptoms are mild while your dog appears generally well, you may observe them for up to 24 hours:
-
Diarrhea or vomiting only occurs 1–2 times a day
-
No fever and energy levels are normal
-
The dog continues to drink water
-
Vomit does not contain blood or coffee-ground-like material
In this case, withholding food for 12–24 hours (not recommended for puppies) and then offering a bland diet such as boiled rice and chicken may help.

Köpeklerde ishal ve kusma her zaman panik nedeni olmayabilir ancak ihmal edilmemesi gereken uyarı işaretleridir. Köpeğinizin genel hali, sıvı alımı ve dışkı/kusmuk yapısı gibi detaylara dikkat ederek durumun ciddiyetini anlayabilirsiniz. Gerekli durumlarda hızlı veteriner müdahalesi, daha büyük sağlık sorunlarının önüne geçebilir.
