General Information

Chihuahua is one of the smallest dog breeds in the world, named after the Chihuahua region of Mexico. Despite its tiny size, it has a brave, lively, and determined character.

Very attached to its owner and often reserved toward strangers. Brave, curious, and energetic. Can be stubborn at times but develops gentle behavior when well socialized.

  • Coat: Two varieties—short-haired and long-haired; comes in a wide range of colors

  • Lifespan: 12–20 years

Exercise Needs
Low physical activity requirements. Short walks and indoor play are sufficient. Due to its small size, it can easily burn energy indoors.

Care
Long-haired Chihuahuas need regular brushing, while short-haired ones require weekly grooming. Sensitive to cold weather, so extra care is needed in winter.

Living Environment
Very suitable for apartment living. Easily adapts to small spaces. Easy to carry and has low maintenance costs.
