Bulldog

General Information

Bulldog is a friendly and patient dog breed, known for its characteristic facial features and sturdy build. Originating in England, it was once used for bull-baiting but today is cherished as a loving companion dog.

Character
The Bulldog is calm, affectionate, and sometimes stubborn. Very attached to people and especially good with children. Has a protective nature but is generally not aggressive.

Physical Characteristics

  • Size: Medium (around 31–40 cm)

  • Weight: 18–25 kg

  • Coat: Short, straight, and dense; colors include white, brown, red, and brindle

  • Face: Typically wrinkled with a short muzzle

  • Lifespan: 8–10 years

Exercise Needs
Low to moderate. Short walks are sufficient. Bulldogs are sensitive to overexertion and extreme heat, so exercise should be controlled.

Care
Facial wrinkles should be cleaned regularly. Eye, nose, and skin care are important. Coat maintenance is easy; brushing a few times a week is enough.

Living Environment
Well-suited for apartment living. Can adapt to a sedentary lifestyle. Does not require a yard but should be taken on short outdoor walks.
